Colours

17 November - 05 January 2024

"Colours" delves deeply into the essence of colour, moving beyond its mere physical presence to explore its profound impact.

Across the rich tapestry of art history, colour emerges as a dominant force, wielding an undeniable influence and autonomy. Its journey from a tangible entity to a symbolically charged force intricately shapes the evolution of artistic expression, weaving a narrative that intertwines with the development of creative techniques.

The exhibition features works by Ron Arad, Miquel Barceló, Amoako Boafo, Lita Cabellut, Marc Chagall, Teh-Chun Chu, Carlos Cruz-Díez, Jean Dubuffet, Günther Förg, Sam Francis, Juan Genovés, Sepideh Ilsley, Yves Klein, Jae Ko, Fernand Léger, Bengt Lindstrom, John Madu, Xavier Mascaró, Roberto Echaurren Matta, Joan Miró, Adrián Navarro, Hermann Nitsch, A. R. Penck, Pablo Picasso, Antonio Saura, Turi Simeti, Pierre Soulages, Frank Stella, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Antoni Tàpies, and Manolo Valdés
